Georgie has always had a passion for design and creating stimulating, well-curated spaces. This is coupled with a natural ability to bring together colour, form and function effortlessly. She has developed her skills over the years with a creative journey starting with study at Otago University that led to a career in sales and marketing in fast moving consumer goods. This was followed by a colourful 12 years in Hong Kong which included time as the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, creating her own women’s fashion label, studying the 5000 year old practice of Feng Shui, and completing a Diploma of Interior Design through the New Zealand Design Institute. A move to Christchurch in 2013 allowed another fresh start with the creation of Kirkcaldie Commercial Interiors in 2016.
