The Club House at Lady Wigram Village brings the villa residents together to socialise, dine, find a nook to read a book, complete jigsaw puzzles, play billiards and bridge, have a cut and colour or coffee and cake. There is even a theatre to watch an old favourite or the latest release!

Kirkcaldie were tasked with creating a comfortable and functional space combining modern living with familiar references to the past. The design recreates traditional elements such as wood panelling, tongue and groove, herringbone tiling, checks, tweed and houndstooth in wool, velvet and leather upholstery fabrics plus carpeting with an aged Persian rug look.

The design included elements used in interiors for at least a century or more, but now sit effortlessly within a contemporary setting, creating a harmonious balance between the past and present.
