To bring the spaces to life, Kirkcaldies specified the interior finishes including flooring, wall colour, feature lighting, joinery, furniture, artworks, and soft furnishings. The resulting interior is a series of elegant, serene spaces where residents can relax, dine, socialise, and feel totally at home.  

The 2500 square metre facility comprises 40-bed accommodation, café/bar space, dining room, lounge, reception, and foyer with a seating area. By taking a fresh look at what can be achieved within a residential care setting, Kirkcaldies has managed to bring a sophisticated, inviting environment to life, performing the clever trick of functioning superbly as a rest home while avoiding the appearance of a care facility.
