The owner’s vision for Lady Wigram was to create a high-end hotel feel with an element of understated luxury. To bring the spaces to life, Kirkcaldies specified the interior finishes including flooring, wall colour, feature lighting, joinery, furniture, artworks, and soft furnishings. The resulting interior is a series of elegant, serene spaces where residents can relax, dine, socialise, and feel totally at home. 

The 2500 square metre facility comprises 40-bed accommodation, café/bar space, dining room, lounge, reception, and foyer with a seating area. By taking a fresh look at what can be achieved within a residential care setting, Kirkcaldies has managed to bring a sophisticated, inviting environment to life, performing the clever trick of functioning superbly as a rest home while avoiding the appearance of a care facility.
